U MUST MAKE UR PSX THINK THE LID IS CLOSED

This method requires that you familiarize yourself with the PlayStation’s CD motor speeds. If you watch the CD spin with the lid open, and sensor down, you’ll notice that it spins slowly (1x speed) and quickly (2x speed).

Insert a US game with the lid open and the sensor held down. 

When the CD drive speeds up to 2x, take out the US game and replace it with a Japanese or Copied one. If done correctly, you will now see the black PlayStation screen. 

The Japanese or Copied CD will slow down to 1x, then back up to 2x. When it slows down yet again, remove the Japanese or Copied game and replace it with the US one. 
The US CD will speed back up to 2x. Finally replace it with the Japanese or Copied game and play.
